The New Chapters.

Week 2 of my freshman year of college. I have never felt so many emotions in such a short period of time. Anxious, nervous, sad, happy, questionable, confused, relieved. Just a few of many. But from the moment I moved into my dorm, I knew this was my second home and had no trouble settling in. This has been one heck of a week though. I've met so many amazing people, and have gotten super close to others! I love all of my professors, except for one, but that's a lot better than what I was expecting. Tuesdays are my hardest days because I have FIVE hours worth of Astronomy classes in the evening. Thank goodness that's only once a week. My roommates are super cool! I love them.
I joined a group called Chi Alpha (XA), a Christian group on campus. It's not a sorority, just a group of kids - for guys and girls - who want to get together on Monday nights to worship together. This is where I have met all of my close friends. Allison, Keely, Jeremy, Amber, Brooklyn, Taylor C., Ethan. These are some of the most AMAZING people you will ever meet, and they all love Jesus.

That's school.

My personal life? Well.. This is an interesting story.
A LOT has changed just in the past month. Said goodbye to my best friends of ten years. Moved out of the house I was raised in. Love came fast and ended as quickly as it came. My heart has been broken... But now that I'm here and I'm surrounded by such an amazing support group, it has helped me adapt to this place so much easier, and I praise God for that. All of the bad things that happened along the way has led me here, and I wouldn't change a thing.

{{To my girls at Tech, A&M, and Baylor. I love you and miss you so much. The jokes. The laughter. The talks. The memories. The ups and downs. It it these things that I will cherish forever. Even though all four of us are in four separate parts of Texas, I know that God is going to do some amazing things in y'alls lives. I know that you are all happy and you are exactly where you're supposed to be. Can't wait for a best friend reunion! :) }}

Well, there you have it. My first full week here at Angelo, and working on week two. It's not very much right now, but I am going to try to write more often.

Peace around the world for generations.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future."
-Jeremiah 29:11
