Because Life Happens.

I hardly ever talk about myself, or much less, like to talk about myself.
My mother encourages me and inspires me to write, especially about my life.
Sooo..
I'll take a whack at it.

My life is interesting, to say the least.
Growing up in a small town has been one of the best things that could ever happen to me.
I'm the girl who loves animals.
The girl who loves wide open spaces.
The girl who loves stock shows.
The girl who loves exploring through pastures.
Just a few of many.

But those small things have made up a huge part of my life,
and I would never trade any of them for the world.

o o o

People don't seem to realize that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
As for me, and as of now...
I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him I would be nothing and I am blessed beyond measure. He is my life.
Music is my life. Photography is my life.
Baird High School Alumni.
Angelo State University.
Golfer.
Photographer for Our365.
I love to write.
I can't tell you how much I've changed just in the past year.
I'm a simple girl who wants nothing more than to be inspired.
I hate being the center of attention.
I love to watch basketball. College and NBA.
But if Kobe Bryant ever came to my door, I would shut it.
I have about 67 books on my 'next to read' list that I can't wait to read.
I love being active. Taking walks, golfing, pretty much anything that involves being outside.
I grew up in a family where you said yes sir, no sir, yes ma'am, and no ma'am, and if you didn't, you'd
get your teeth knocked out of your head.
I can sleep through a thunder and lightning storm that lasts all night, but I will wake up if someone
opens my door.
I have a blanket that I sleep with every single night. I literally can't sleep without it.
I love the Beatles. And Bon Iver. And Ben Howard.
I am stubborn.
There is a time to be stern and there is a time to be generous. I can be both.
I would rather take pictures of a homecoming queen than to be one.
I hate arcades. They freak me out.
I won't tell you that I love you if I don't mean it.
I have a mind of my own.
I can and I will take care of myself.
I have the life that's worth waking up for.
I put others before myself.
I watch the majority of high school sports events through the lens of a camera.
I love holding hands.
I am addicted to: teriyaki beef jerkey, lemon water, and triscuits.
I have the best parents in the world... But seriously...
I love Frank Sinatra and Otis Redding. I love to laugh.
I love to go fishing and being on the lake.
I don't cry much.
I long for a true love. I strive to live life to the fullest of my ability.
I am optimistic.
My heart has been broken, and I have broken hearts.
I am bigger than my concerns and worries.
Half of my heart is in Africa.
I thank God for uniting me with my sister.
And I can't wait to see what God has in store for me next.
My life is
To Be Continued...
