But The Greatest Of These Is?

Of course, Love.

February 14th. Valentine's Day. The day of love. Some people hate it, and some people love it.
[I happen to love it, with or without a significant other ;)]
It's the day where gentlemen bring flowers and chocolates to their ladies, or maybe take them out for a nice dinner. But Valentine's Day is more than just presents and cards. It's a day dedicated to that one special person that you love.
Yeah I know.. [Cornyyy]
But when I watch my mother and daddy day in and day out, cooking dinner in the kitchen together, holding hands in the car on the way to Walmart, giving a goodbye kiss everyday before work, and writing each other sweet notes for Valentine's Day, all makes me realize what a strong bond that they have, not only in each other, but also in their faith. For as long as I can remember, my whole life, I have seen my parents grow in love and encourage each other in their walk of faith. That's the kind of love that truly represents Valentine's Day.
Genuine, honest, faithful, trustworthy, encouraging, kind, everlasting love.

April 1986

Love is kind and patient.
Never jealous, boastful,
proud or rude.
Love isn't selfish or quick tempered,

It doesn't keep a record

Of wrongs that others do.
Love rejoices in truth, but not evil.

It is always supportive,

Loyal, hopeful, and trusting.
Love Never Fails.

What an amazing verse and promise. These few words represent a crystal clear picture of the perfect love, not only that God has given us, but for what He has in store for us. To actually put these words into action is the true test of a true love.

It was no accident, me finding you. Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew.

Now I just can't believe that you're in my life,
Heaven's smilin' down on me as I look at you tonight.
So I'll tip my hat to the keeper of the stars. He sure knew what He was doin' when He joined these two hearts. I've hold everything when I hold you in my arms.
I've got all I'll ever need,
Thanks to the keeper of the stars

And so now these three remain.
Faith.
Hope.
And well, of course..
Love.
